Fellowship News & Events

New Year’s Eve Dinner!  Ring in the 2019 with your church family!  Join us for a yummy meal prepared by Michele Margosian, followed by a wonderful worship service.  Dinner will be served at 6pm in the Great Room, and worship at 7pm in the Sanctuary.  What a great way to start out 2019!  Please sign up on the Town Square bulletin board, or here (New Years Eve Dinner).

Christmas Un-decorating:  What goes up, must come down! Newton’s Law applies to the wonderful decorations so many of you helped put up in November and now all those decorations must come down. We will meet on January 6 following the 10:30am service and work together sorting and packing things up for another year. Thanks to all of you who came to help decorate. Your help was invaluable and we were excited to see new faces in the crowd. We will need ladder workers to take down the ornaments and trees in the sanctuary and remove the garlands from the pillars and of course helpers to carefully pack away all the wreaths, ornaments and garlands. Many hands make light work so we will look for your shining face and your loving hands to help get this done. Refreshments will be served! Sign up in the Town Square. Questions? Call Kitty at 248-644-4010 or email misskitty@redeemerbirmingham.org.

Join us for Coffee Hour Every Sunday:  Coffee hour follows the 8:00 am service and runs until the 10:30 am service, every Sunday.  This is a time to get a light snack and fellowship with others you may know or not know.  Introduce yourself to someone who is unfamiliar and make them feel welcome.  Care to host a Coffee Hour for a future Sunday? Find out more by clicking the Fellowship button below. Families may collaborate together and sign up for a date!  Nothing fancy is required!  This could also be a great way for Confirmation families to get some family service hours!

Shain Park Nativity:  As begun in December 2006, the life-size Nativity now on display in Birmingham’s Shain Park is jointly sponsored by Redeemer, Our Shepherd and Ascension of Christ Lutheran Churches. This tangible evidence of your mission dollars at work is intended to visibly share the beautiful message of Christ’s birth. We thank God for your faithful support of His mission and for this opportunity to witness to the community in such a special way. Drive by and take a look – it’s on the east side of the park across from City Hall.
