As God’s people, we are called to reach out to others with the love of Jesus Christ and the message of salvation in Him. Our outreach is one of proclamation and tangible acts of Christian love. Through our Outreach Ministries many people learn about and experience God’s love for them as expressed through His people at Redeemer.
LCMS MISSIONS
Our contributions to the Michigan District and the Missouri Synod support mission activities deemed important by Redeemer leadership to projects across the state, country and worldwide. Redeemer tithes 5% for missions.

iZōsh
iZōsh®️ Birmingham is an organization of women dedicated to the economic empowerment of women globally who are living in extreme poverty. By giving micro-loans to these women, we help them to lift themselves out of extreme poverty and reduce the risk of oppression and exploitation in their lives. Many women in extreme poverty live in areas where banks are not available or will not lend to the poor. A small loan allows her to establish a business, transforming her family’s life with a “hand up” rather than a “hand out.” When she repays her loan, the money gets re-invested in a new loan so the cycle of supporting women continues.

MEXICALI PROJECTS
In a village called Iraputo, Mexican women gather for fellowship greeting the team that has come from Redeemer to teach their children in Vacation Bible School. Over the years, Redeemer has supported the little church in the village, building from scratch, adding a new roof, signage, chairs, tables and air conditioning.

KIDS AGAINST HUNGER
Feeding families around the world. KAH is a non profit organization with the mission to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the USA and to feed starving children throughout the world. This is being acheived by using volunteers to set up food packaging satellites in the USA – and through partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide – enabling KAH to deliver its specially formulated rice-soy casserole to starving children and their families in more than 40 countries.

Along with your Mission project purchase you will receive a Christmas ornament with an explanation of what your gift has accomplished.
